So you got engaged? Did he ask you? Did you pop the question? Was it elaborately planned, or did it happen at the spur of the moment? I’m curious by nature so I’d love to know. 🙂
Anyhow, Congrats! You are engaged!! So what now, right? I can imagine that the task of planning a whole wedding looks a little daunting right before you start, so why not begin by actually taking a step back for a moment. Did you already sit down and talk about what you and your future husband want the wedding day to look like? Do you dream of a big celebration? A small and intimate affair with only your closest friends? Or are you even tinkering with the idea of eloping to some other country? Just in case you are not exactly sure yet, I have rounded up a few online resources, filled to the brim with wedding inspiration to show you what options are out there. You will find ideas for just about every type of celebration. So grab a cup of coffee, your laptop and a blanket to snuggle up in and get ready to be inspired.

Hint: At this point it’s a good idea to create a Pinterest board to which you can simply pin the images / articles you like, so you have them all stored in one place throughout the planning process. Of course you can also start by going through some of my boards, where I’ve collected some wedding inspiration that’s more after my own taste. Maybe you’ll find something you like there too. Find my boards under www.pinterest.com/andreastaskaphoto.
So these are just a couple of wedding blogs that are out there (my favorites are the ones in bold) and I would recommend to pick two or three maximum, to source inspiration from. With so much input it’s easy to feel super overwhelmed and feel like you have to have all the things the couples on these blogs had… Remember these sources are only there for you to find some inspiration on what could be done. The important thing is, that YOU DO YOU. Pick what you love and what suits you and your lifestyle and let the rest fall to the wayside.
Fancy some more?
