Planning a wedding often seems like a daunting task and to be honest I guess it can be. There’s a ton of work that goes into it, a lot of different opinions out there on what should be done and how it should be done, and of course navigating all the well-meant wisdom shared by the people around you can become a minefield in and of itself. So if you are not careful you might just get pulled under ‚Alice in Wonderland‘-style! But don’t worry it doesn’t have to be that way.
I am not by any means a wedding planner nor am I married, but as a photographer specializing in weddings (small and intimate ones are my personal favorites) I have picked up quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to planning a wedding and might just be able to provide you with a bit of insight on what works and what doesn’t.
So in order to lend a bit of support, I am going to implement a new category on the blog for you. Functioning as a sort of guide book to help you go through the wedding planning process without coming out completely burnt out and frazzled right before the big day. (I swear I’ve seen it happen before). Of course these tips are only my take on things and you can absolutely take them or leave them.
The topics will range from where to find inspiration, what to consider to get beautiful photos (well obviously, right?), why to stay away from Facebook wedding groups (they are the thief of all joy) to how to plan the wedding you want and not the one your auntie is set on pushing at you. The posts will come in weekly intervals every Thursday at 9am CET, so make sure to come back tomorrow morning for the first installment of the series. 🙂
Also if you have any specific questions please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’ll try my best to help you out in any way I can. 🙂
Fancy some more?
